Appeal
The Institute, initially at least, will have to depend on grants from organizations and contributions from Philanthropists and Philanthropic organizations. These contributions will be duly and properly recognized.

The Governing Board of the institute appeals to all to come forward and contribute in any fashion they deem fit to realize the dream of one of the most famous statisticians of our time; one the country is truly proud of.

• The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education and the Chief Minister of AP in the year 2002 granted the institute INR 5,000,000 (USD 114,000).
• Mrs. C Bhargavi Rao has donated a sum of USD 50,000 (INR 2,400,000).
• DST, GOI has given grant-in-aid for a Center for Mathematical Sciences for 5 years (approx)USD16,000,000 (INR 6.36,00,000)
• Sriram Chit Funds has donated Rs.15,00,000/-
• Former students of Prof. C R Rao, International Indian Statistical Association has contributed (Approx) USD 139,990.

• Dr.T R Rao, President of Market Probe inc, alumnus of ISI, Kolkata has made a pledge to donate US $ 100,000 over period of 3 years towards and endowed professorship. He plans to add further to this fund over time.
• The University of Hyderabad has agreed to allocate the land required for the buildings of the institute on the UoH Campus.
• The Hyderabad University, as a token of its commitment, has already provided temporary accommodation to the institute in the School of Science so that its further activities may start.

While the capital expenditure will require a one time grant, recurring expenses will necessarily have to be generated from grants, investment of corpus fund created for the purpose. Both these amounts are to be solicited from:

• The Government, Philanthropists and Philanthropic organizations.
  
• Alumini of University of Hyderabad and Indian Statistical Institute.
  
• Former the students of Professor C R Rao, Industries, Business Enterprises.
